Driver Requirements
Basic Eligibility
- Valid Driver’s License: Must possess a current, valid driver’s license (Class C or higher) .
- Driving Experience: Minimum of 02 years of licensed driving experience required.
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 25 years of age.
- Work Authorization: Legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Background & Safety Screening: Willingness to consent to a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
Driving & Safety History
- Clean Driving Record: No major traffic violations within the last 3 years.
- Safe Driving History: A history of safe vehicle operation with no recent at-fault accidents.
- License Status: Must have an active, non-suspended, and non-revoked driver’s license.
- Vehicle Proficiency: Comfortable operating large transit vans and specialized wheelchair-accessible vehicles.
Experience & Skills
- Passenger Care: Experience or strong interest in transporting elderly or disabled passengers with dignity.
- Equipment Mastery: Ability to learn and operate wheelchair lifts and industry-standard securement systems.
- Certifications: Possession of (or willingness to obtain) CPR and First Aid certification.
- Industry Knowledge: Previous experience in caregiving, healthcare, or medical transportation is a plus.
Physical Ability & Patient Care
- Mobility Support: Physically able to safely assist passengers during boarding and exiting.
- Lifting Capability: Capable of lifting or assisting with up to 50–100 pounds as required for patient safety.
- Empathy & Professionalism: Dedicated to providing a 5-star experience for elderly patients, hospital staff, and caregivers.
Availability & Work Preferences
- Flexible Scheduling: Availability for early mornings, evenings, or weekends as needed.
- Reliable Attendance: Consistent and reliable transportation to and from work.
- Service Area: Willingness to travel throughout the Metro Atlanta area for pickups and deliveries.
