General Services

What areas of Metro Atlanta do you serve?

We are based in Cobb County and primarily serve Cobb, Fulton, DeKalb, and Gwinnett counties. This includes Marietta, Atlanta, Decatur, McDonough and the greater Atlanta area.

Our standard transport hours are 5:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Saturday. However, we understand that medical needs don’t always follow a schedule. We do offer after-hours and Sunday pickups for an additional fee. To ensure we have a driver and vehicle ready for an after-hours request, please contact us as early as possible to coordinate the logistics. We highly recommend booking at least 48-72 hours in advance to ensure vehicle availability.

Equipment & Accessibility

Do I need to provide my own wheelchair?

Most of our clients use their own personalized mobility devices. However, if you do not have one, please let us know when booking. We can often provide a standard manual wheelchair for use during the transport for a small additional fee.

Yes. Unlike “curbside” services, our trained two-person teams provide full bed-to-bed assistance. We handle the transfer from the patient’s bedside to the vehicle and into the destination facility safely and with dignity.

Absolutely. One companion or caregiver may ride free of charge. Please let us know during booking so we can ensure the vehicle has the appropriate seating available.

Pricing & Insurance

How much does a transport cost?

Pricing is based on the type of service (Wheelchair, Stretcher, or Ambulatory) and the distance of the trip. Because every patient’s needs are unique, we provide customized quotes. You can [Request a Quote online – link] or call us at (678) 832-7190 for a quick estimate.

We work with major NEMT brokers including ModivCare, Verida, and Sonder Health Plans. If you are booking through insurance, please contact your provider first to designate Pronto Transportation Services as your preferred carrier. For private-pay clients, we accept all major credit cards.

Logistics & Safety

How far in advance should I book my ride?

To guarantee a time slot, we recommend booking at least 48 hours in advance. We do our best to accommodate same-day requests for hospital discharges, but these are subject to fleet availability.

Yes. As a veteran-owned company, safety is our priority. All drivers undergo background checks, drug testing, and specialized training in CPR, First Aid, and proper wheelchair/stretcher securement protocols.
