Driver Requirements
Basic Eligibility
- Do you have a valid driver’s license? If yes, what state and class?
- How many years of driving experience do you have?
- Are you at least 21 years old?
- Are you legally authorized to work in the United States?
- Are you willing to consent to a background check and drug screening?
Driving & Safety History
- Have you had any traffic violations in the last 3 years? If yes, please explain.
- Have you ever been involved in a motor vehicle accident while driving for work?
- Have you ever had your license suspended or revoked?
- Are you comfortable driving large vans or wheelchair-accessible vehicles?
Experience & Skills
- Do you have experience transporting elderly or disabled passengers?
- Do you have experience operating a wheelchair lift or securement system?
- Are you certified in CPR or First Aid? (If not, are you willing to obtain certification?)
- Have you worked in medical transportation, healthcare, or caregiving before?
Physical Ability & Patient Care
- Are you able to assist passengers in and out of vehicles safely?
- Are you able to lift or assist up to 50–100 pounds if needed?
- Are you comfortable assisting passengers with wheelchairs, walkers, or mobility aids?
- Have you ever helped someone with special needs or limited mobility?
- Are you comfortable working with elderly patients, hospital staff, and caregivers?
